Mudra For Healing The Heart
When we think of healing the heart, quite often we think of a broken heart from a relationship we have had. But, a broken heart can also result from not living in alignment with one’s self.
The joining of the palms together represents “yoking” or yoga (complete self-integration). This yoking represents the practitioners connection with the divine in all things.
The saturn finger (middle finger) is pressed against the 3rd eye. The saturn finger represents discipline, discernment, and responsibility. By holding the saturn finger to the 3rd eye, this posture awakens our discernment, 6th sense, inner knowing, and psychic ability.
This is a mudra for healing the heart. It fosters reverence, inner alignment, and deep relaxation. It heals trauma to the nervous system and awakens an inner sense of knowing. It enables us to live fully from the heart.
Sit in easy pose.
Bring your hands into prayer.
Press your middle fingers up to your 3rd eye.
Lift your elbows so that your forearms are parallel with the floor.
Hold for 3-11 Minutes.
